Special Abilities

Lay on Hands 1/2 paladin level times per day; 1d6 / 2 paladin levels

Smite Evil (Su) Once per day, Sclavo can call out to the powers of good to aid him in his struggle against evil. As a swift action, he chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, Sclavo adds his Charisma bonus (+1) to his attack rolls and adds his paladin level (1) to all damage rolls made against the target of his smite. If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per paladin level. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.

In addition, while smite evil is in effect, Sclavo gains a deflection bonus equal to his Charisma modifier (+1) to his AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If he targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect.

The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time Sclavo rests and regains his uses of this ability.

Divine Grace Charisma bonus added to saving throws.

Combat Quick Reference

Default Tactics

First Choice What Sclavo loves to do the most is to march up to an evil-doer, tell him that he's evil, and then attack him. Sclavo has +4 to hit with his morningstar, which deals 1d8+2 damage.

Second Choice If faced with a foe too strong for him, Sclavo will aid a comrade in combat, either with offence or defence (depending on the situation).

Last Choice If he must flee the field of battle, Sclavo will try to be the last to leave as he guards the escape of everyone else.

A soft-spoken yet intractable (if secret) worshiper of Iomedae, Sclavo had long worked as a scribe for one of Westcrown’s courts. He longed for a day when the laws of Cheliax can be reformed, and saw the Children of Westcrown as a tool that, eventually, could be used to do just that.

On Arodus 19 he worked alongside Lady Fire-Eyes and Lord Anselar to vanquish his arch-rival, Nijal. There were tieflings there too.

On Arodus 28, Sclavo was given a cold iron dagger and a silver dagger by Mayor Arvanxi.

On Rova 12, Sclavo was killed by an undead horse. He rose as an undead himself, but was mercifully put down by his companions. They consigned his body to the sea.
